Tzovinar Vardanian Comments on Upcoming Trilateral Meeting in Brussels
Member of the RA National Assembly from the ruling Civil Contract party and head of the Permanent Commission on Financial and Budgetary Affairs, Tzovinar Vardanian, has commented on the upcoming trilateral meeting in Brussels. According to her, expectations from the meeting should be balanced. "The meeting was originally scheduled to address the deepening of economic cooperation and to explore possible new horizons for the development of the Armenian economy; thus, expectations should be formed accordingly," she stated.
Vardanian also touched upon the issue of public and external debt, emphasizing that when discussing this topic, it is important to refer not just to the absolute value, but rather to the debt-to-GDP ratio. "In Armenia, the debt-to-GDP ratio is about 40%, which is within an acceptable limit," she added.
