NATO's Biggest Battles Are Yet to Come, Landsbergis Warns
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis, has warned that NATO's biggest battles are still ahead and that it is necessary to be prepared for them. His words were quoted by LRT.
“Unfortunately, it is possible that NATO's biggest battles are expected in the future. We must be ready for that, because if those battles reach us and we are not prepared, it will be our greatest mistake,” Landsbergis said.
Earlier, military expert and political advisor to the U.S. State Department and Department of Defense, Edward Luttwak, stated that NATO countries will soon have to send troops to Ukraine, otherwise the alliance will be forced to cope with a 'catastrophic defeat.'
