«The Mentioned Villages Are Not Subject to Territorial Dispute» - Hajiyev
The EU Special Representative in the South Caucasus sees a "malice only in the legal discourse regarding the return of Azerbaijani villages," completely ignoring calls in the Armenian press for continuing the fight against illegal occupation. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Aikhan Hajiyev, in response to Toivo Klaar's statements yesterday.
Hajiyev emphasized that "the mentioned villages are not subject to territorial dispute." Earlier, the EU representative deemed the threats directed at Armenia from Azerbaijani media as unacceptable. Klaar did not specify which threats he was referring to, only insisting that "real negotiations on border delimitation are necessary, and all territorial disputes must be resolved peacefully and within an agreed process."
