Stoltenberg's Statement on Meetings with Armenian Prime Minister and President
I am pleased to have met with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan. This was written by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on his microblog X.
“I look forward to strengthening NATO’s partnership with Armenia. Peace and stability in the South Caucasus are crucial for security in a broader sense. I call on Armenia and Azerbaijan to seize the opportunity to establish lasting peace,” he wrote.
It is noteworthy that today an extended meeting took place between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the Government headquarters. Additionally, a meeting was held between President Vahagn Khachaturyan and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at the Presidential Residence.
