Macron Declares Need to Send Troops to Odesa: Le Monde
French President Emmanuel Macron has announced the necessity of sending French military personnel to Odesa, reports Le Monde. “In any case, next year I will be forced to send soldiers to Odesa,” he stated on February 21.
Le Monde also noted that the idea of sending French troops to Ukraine emerged within the French leadership during the summer of 2023, against the backdrop of the Ukrainian counteroffensive's failures.
