Former US President to Challenge Current President for the First Time in 100 Years
Biden and Trump won the party delegates vote for the presidential nomination, The Washington Post reports. Both received the necessary 50 percent support. The former US president will challenge the sitting leader for the first time since 1912, the newspaper notes. Biden significantly lags behind Trump in voter support, Politico adds.
Last week, Super Tuesday took place in the US. Trump and Biden won almost all intra-party elections.
