The Hague Court Awaits Putin, Says European Commission President
Russian President Vladimir Putin is "sacrificing the country to save himself," said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen at a congress of the European People's Party.
In her speech, she declared that "Putin is a war criminal." She emphasized, "He will stand before justice. The court in The Hague is waiting for him. There can be no doubt about this." The official added that Europe is "fully standing by Ukraine with increasing financial and military support."
