Greece Excludes Sending Troops to Ukraine
Greece's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Georgios Gerapetritis, has ruled out the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine. This statement was reported by RIA Novosti.
In response to a journalist's question about the likelihood of European forces participating in the conflict in Ukraine, the Greek Foreign Minister clarified that there is no discussion regarding troop deployment on Greece's agenda.
At the end of February, French President Emmanuel Macron did not dismiss the option of sending Western ground forces to Ukraine. However, he emphasized that a consensus on this matter has yet to be reached.
