We Expect Clear Answers from Armenia Regarding Constitutional Arrangements: Hajiyev
Our approach is that peace lies between Baku and Yerevan. This was stated by Hikmet Hajiyev, the chief advisor to the Azerbaijani president on foreign affairs, during the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
“Our approach is that peace is between Baku and Yerevan. It must be based on a bilateral format. Peace is not in Paris, Brussels, or elsewhere. Both countries need to mutually come to peace. Azerbaijan has the political will to achieve peace in the South Caucasus. Our policy is not about external powers but is about regional cooperation and a sense of ownership without external factors. We expect clear answers from Armenia regarding constitutional arrangements, ‘unification,’ and other legal provisions. We must also be vigilant about new developments coming into the South Caucasus from abroad,” he added.
