Mirzoyan-Bayramov Negotiations Concluded: What We Know
On February 28-29, 2024, in Berlin, Germany, at Villa Borsig, negotiations were held between Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and Jeyhun Bayramov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports that the ministers and their delegations discussed their viewpoints on the provisions of the draft bilateral agreement regarding the establishment of peace and inter-state relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Reciprocated agreement was expressed to continue negotiations on open issues.
During the visit, the ministers met with Germany’s Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in both bilateral and trilateral formats. Minister Mirzoyan expressed gratitude to Germany for hosting the negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
