German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has ruled out sending German and NATO troops to Ukraine. “We will not allow an escalation of the war, that is, a war between Russia and NATO. There will be no German soldiers or NATO troops on Ukrainian soil, as otherwise it would pose a serious threat,” Scholz stated during a conversation with citizens in Dresden.
