State to Help Artsakh Residents Establish Homes in Armenia, Says Deputy Prime Minister
The state will assist Artsakh residents who wish to settle in Armenia in acquiring homes. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan during an interview on Public Television in a program hosted by Petros Ghazaryan.
“If family members decide to become citizens of the Republic of Armenia, we will support each family member to have access to certain fixed financial resources for building a house or purchasing an apartment, which will be transferred to the family with property rights after residing there for 10 years. If they are willing to live in that apartment, provided by the government’s financial support, for 10 years, we will give them the opportunity to transfer the property rights to them. After that, they can decide whether to sell it and acquire a better apartment,” he said.
