The CSTO Will Not Collapse Without Armenia, Says Lukashenko
Minsk has not received an application from Armenia to withdraw from the CSTO, and I believe that the country should remain a member of the organization,” stated Lukashenko. At the same time, he added that the CSTO will not collapse without Armenia.
Lukashenko also advised against hastily leaving integration frameworks, stating that returning later would be difficult. “We do not kick anyone out of the CSTO; we have always supported, support, and will continue to support Armenia,” he said.
Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Peskov also mentioned that Armenia has not sent official notifications regarding the suspension of its membership in the CSTO.
