Has Putin Discussed Nikol Pashinyan's Statement?
Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet discussed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statement regarding the "freezing" of Armenia's membership in the CSTO.
This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president. He stated, "There is currently no communication, and there hasn’t been any. However, within the framework of working communications, we certainly intend to find out from our Armenian friends what they meant, how things are going. For this reason, we will continue our dialogue with Yerevan."
It is noteworthy that Peskov had previously mentioned that Yerevan had not sent any official notifications regarding the freezing of its CSTO membership.
We remind that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that Armenia has frozen its participation in the CSTO.
