There Is No Trace Left of the West's Former Optimism, Says Zakharova
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has stated that the bleak atmosphere of the Munich Security Conference indicated that there is no trace left of the West's optimism regarding the Ukraine issue. This was mentioned in her commentary published on the website of Russia's foreign diplomatic agency. The information was reported by gazeta.ru.
“From February 16-18, the 60th Munich Security Conference on security issues took place, which focused on discussions about the situation in Ukraine and avoiding failures of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” she stated.
