Erdogan Appeals to UN Security Council
As a result of Israeli attacks on Gaza, more than 28,000 Palestinians have died, and nearly 70,000 people have been injured. This was announced by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a joint press conference with his Egyptian counterpart in Cairo.
He emphasized that achieving a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and ensuring the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid is a priority. Erdogan noted that Turkey has sent more than 34,000 tons of aid to Gaza so far.
He also called on the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take actions to stop the bloodshed in the Gaza Strip.
