New Minefield Reference Manuals Transferred to Baku on January 26, Says Foreign Ministry Spokesperson
New minefield reference manuals have been transferred to the Azerbaijani side on January 26, aimed at addressing humanitarian issues and as a measure to build trust. This was stated by the Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan in response to a question from Azatutyun.
In response to Azerbaijani claims, the spokesperson noted, “Considering Azerbaijan’s inappropriate exploitation of the topic, Armenia has also provided these manuals to certain international partners who can, if necessary, be involved in the process of verifying their accuracy. Instead of exploiting the topic, Azerbaijan has the opportunity to reciprocate Armenia's approach on humanitarian issues and demonstrate genuine commitment to building trust.”
Armenia has handed over 8 new minefield reference manuals to Baku. The Azerbaijani side claims that the data in the transferred manuals is neither accurate nor reliable.
