American billionaire Elon Musk has agreed with Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement regarding the US's mistake with the dollar. He wrote about this on his page on the social media platform X.

"We have gone too far by turning the dollar into a weapon. That was a foolish move," he wrote. This comment came as he reflected on Putin's statement made during an interview with journalist Tucker Carlson, where Putin claimed that the use of the dollar as a tool for fighting on the global stage was a serious strategic mistake by the US.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the dollar is a current or potential weapon for resolving political issues, which is already evident to everyone.
