Zakharova on the Destruction of Monuments in Artsakh by Azerbaijan
Russia and Armenia remain allies, and Moscow expects Yerevan to take this into account. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a briefing.
“Russia and Armenia remain allies, and Moscow expects Yerevan to consider this in the current geopolitical situation,” Zakharova said.
Zakharova also responded to a question regarding Russia's position on the ongoing destruction of monuments to heroes and participants of the Great Patriotic War in Nagorno-Karabakh. “If you have materials on this matter, send them to me, and I will certainly comment on them,” Zakharova replied.
