Traffic Halted on Yerevan-Goris Road Due to Heavy Snowfall

An emergency situation has arisen on the Yerevan-Goris highway for more than an hour, particularly in the Gorayk area.

According to Shamshyan.com, traffic has been halted over a stretch of approximately 3-4 kilometers due to heavy snowfall. The Police Patrol Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, specifically the second platoon of the second company from Syunik province, is conducting enhanced service in the area.

Rescuers and police have managed to extract over 30 vehicles that were trapped in the snow, and they are currently attempting to clear about 20 more vehicles.
