The PKP Faction in the National Assembly Plans to Hold Closed Meetings with Officials Dissatisfied by Pashinyan
The 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper reports: 'PKP deputies intend to periodically summon various ministers and officials to the National Assembly for closed meetings. Specifically, the primary ministers and officials whose work has displeased Pashinyan, or who are frequently involved in controversial incidents, will be called to the Assembly.
At the same time, it is noteworthy that the initiative to summon officials and ministers to the parliament does not originate from Pashinyan, but rather from the deputies, particularly from the PKP faction leadership. Presumably, the legislators intend to increase parliamentary oversight over other institutions. By mentioning the parliament, they refer to the PKP itself. The PKP is targeting only those officials with whom Nikol Pashinyan has a strained relationship.'
