Ambassador of Armenia Withdrawn From Mexico and Several Other Countries
The President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, has signed a decree recalling the Armenian Ambassador Armella Shakaryan from her position in Mexico and several other countries. The official announcement published on the President's website states:
“Based on the Prime Minister's proposal and in accordance with the second point of part 1 of Article 132 of the Constitution and Article 14 of the Law on Diplomatic Service, Armella Shakaryan is recalled from the position of the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in the United Mexican States, the Republic of Costa Rica, the Republic of Panama, the Republic of Nicaragua, the Republic of Guatemala, the Republic of El Salvador, and Belize.”
