Iranians Seize Tankers in the Persian Gulf
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' naval forces have seized fuel transport tankers in the Persian Gulf. This was reported by the Tasnim agency.
According to the report, Iranian military personnel detained a vessel loaded with 2 million liters of smuggled fuel based on a court order. The Iranian security forces arrested 14 crew members.
The commander of the naval region of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, General Heydar Henarian, stated that a ship flying the flag of an oceanic country had been "under reconnaissance surveillance from the moment it was loaded and seized after entering the operational area of the ocean."
