Video: "My Life Was in Danger, I Have Applied for Political Asylum," Naira Hayrapetyan Leaves Armenia
Naira Hayrapetyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council from the "Mother Armenia" faction, has announced that she has left Armenia due to threats to her life and police repression. She has applied for political asylum and will remain abroad until she feels her life is no longer in danger.
It is important to note that the police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported an incident on January 15, when Nairine Hayrapetyan, another member of the "Mother Armenia" alliance in the Yerevan City Council, was kidnapped.
