City Budget Revenues Expected to Double by Year-End, Says ‘Driver’s Friend’ NGO
The response from the Yerevan Municipality clearly indicates that city budget revenues are expected to double by the end of the year. This contradicts the thesis previously presented to us that no additional revenues are anticipated. During the same period, the amount collected for the 'Red Lines' has exceeded 104,600,000 AMD.
I leave the conclusions to you. This was stated by the 'Driver’s Friend' NGO on their Facebook page.
As for 2023, there was no zoning for the parking fee. As of January 15, 2023, approximately 29,800 vehicles paid the annual fee of 12,000 AMD for parking, which later increased to 48,000 vehicles.
By January 15, 2024, 2,380 vehicles in Zone A paid an annual rate of 160,000 AMD, and 1,100 vehicles paid the monthly rate of 18,000 AMD. For Zone B, around 2,700 vehicles paid the annual rate of 24,000 AMD, while about 200 citizens paid 4,000 AMD monthly for parking in this zone.
