Video: Former Prime Minister's Residence in Japan Completely Burned Down

The residence of former Japanese Prime Minister Kakuei Tanaka has been completely burned down in the center of Tokyo, Japan. According to NHK, this was reported by RIA Novosti. The cause of the emergency incident is presumed to be burning incense sticks.

Two hours later, the fire was nearly extinguished with the help of 20 firefighting units; however, the two-story building was almost entirely destroyed, and a single-story building in the same area was partially affected.

The total area of the fire was reported to be 800 square meters. It has been noted that Tanaka's daughter and her husband were in the house at the time; fortunately, no one was injured.

Authorities have stated that police and firefighters will investigate the scene on Tuesday.
