Azerbaijan Expels Two Employees of the French Embassy
On December 26, the French Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Anne Bouillon, was summoned to the Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs. According to press reports, the ambassador was informed that the Azerbaijani government has declared two employees of the French embassy as "persona non grata" for activities contrary to the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and inconsistent with their diplomatic status.
