Russian Defense Ministry Reports Mass Assault by Ukrainian Drones

The Crimean Peninsula faced a mass attack by Ukrainian drones on the evening of December 15, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.

“Using air defense and electronic warfare measures, an attempt by Kyiv to carry out a mass strike on objects located in the territory of the Crimean Peninsula with unmanned aerial vehicles has been repulsed. All drones were destroyed,” the defense ministry stated.

It was noted that Russian air defense systems shot down 26 Ukrainian drones in Crimea within two hours, and later, six more UAVs were reported downed by Russian air defense forces.
