Either Support the Peace Process or Refrain from Interfering: Bayramov to EU States
The mutual recognition and respect for each other's sovereignty and territorial integrity is the only path to stable peace, stability, and prosperity in the South Caucasus. This was stated by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a speech at the meeting of foreign ministers of Eastern Partnership countries.
“We call on all EU institutions and member states to provide constructive support or at least refrain from actions that could harm this important process of resolution, as we unfortunately saw in the context of the canceled leaders' meeting in Granada. We regret this situation, as this process could be beneficial for bringing the positions of the parties closer together,” he said.
