Armenia is the Safest Country in the Region for Jews
The Israeli National Security Secretary's office has issued a statement that includes specific guidance regarding the travel of Jews worldwide and identifies safe countries. The statement outlined the categorization of countries for Jews as safe, secure, dangerous, and extremely unfavorable.
According to the publication, Armenia is identified as the safest country for Jews in the South Caucasus, while Azerbaijan and Georgia are seen as potentially dangerous countries.
Journalist Dor Shabashev addressed the announcement, pointing out that Georgia generally has better relations with Israel and, unlike Armenia, lacks geopolitical reasons to harbor animosity towards it.
