VIDEO: When and how will former representatives of the RA authorities and oligarchs be held accountable?
A compatriot living in Germany asked the Prime Minister when and how various former representatives of the RA authorities, as well as oligarchs involved in a number of criminal cases, would be held accountable. He inquired whether these individuals would face accountability in the form of paying several million or billion to the state budget and being released from prisons.
“Justice in the country must be an institution, and we have made tremendous efforts in the direction of establishing this over the last few years. The most important characteristic of authority should be restraint and the ability to self-limit. When you are not the Prime Minister, you can do anything that is not prohibited by law. However, when you are the Prime Minister or an official, according to our Constitution, you can only do things for which you are authorized by law,” said Pashinyan.
