VIDEO: Snow Falls in Aparan, Artik, and Maralik

Today, snow has fallen not only in the capital city of Yerevan but also, as meteorologists forecasted, in several regions of the Republic. Users on social media are sharing videos showing the snowfall that occurred today in Aparan, Artik, and Maralik.

Earlier, Gagik Surenyana, Deputy Director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, posted videos from Ashotzk.

The Road Department Foundation reports that as of 19:50, snow is falling in the regions of Spitak, Aragats, Vanadzor, Chambarak, Martuni (Vardenyats Pass), Ararat (Jangakat junction), Talin, Tashir, Ani, Artik, Dilijan, Sevan, Vayk, and Meghri. All interstate and national significance highways are open. Road construction teams are engaged in snow removal and treatment with salt and sand on the roads.
