Security Cannot Be Ensured Solely by the Military, Says Pashinyan
The state is defined by the number of people living there, the number of people born there, and how many people connect their future and that of their children with the country, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a session of the National Assembly.
“I am pleased to note that from January to August 2023, we have the highest birth rate in the last five years, which is a very important signal,” he emphasized.
Pashinyan asserted that their key objective is for people to live in Armenia freely, having the opportunity to create and be happy.
“Together, we must ensure both the external and internal security of the Republic of Armenia and its citizens. When speaking of security, it is usually perceived as weaponry and military strength, but no country has ever been able to ensure security solely through the military, unless there are security-capable frameworks and ideologies established at the foundation of the state,” the Prime Minister highlighted.
