This is the Second Phase of the War: Netanyahu

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on October 28 that the second phase of the war has begun, aimed at destroying the Palestinian Hamas movement and liberating hostages.

"This is the second phase of the war. Our calls are very clear: eliminate Hamas's military and governmental authority and bring the victims home," Netanyahu’s remarks were quoted by The Guardian.

During a press conference in Tel Aviv, he added that allies in Western and Arab countries understand the objectives of Israel's war with the Palestinian movement and wish victory for the Jewish state.

Netanyahu also stated that Israeli troops have entered the Gaza Strip to destroy Hamas and free the hostages.
