The European Union Will Continue Mediation in Armenia-Azerbaijan Negotiations: Michel
The European Union will continue its mediation efforts in negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This was stated by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, during a press conference following the EU summit in Brussels. The information is provided by RIA Novosti.
"We have discussed the situation in the South Caucasus. We are firmly determined to advance the EU's mediation efforts to achieve a settlement between Azerbaijan and Armenia based on mutual recognition of territorial integrity and sovereignty," said Michel.
The head of the European Council added that the leaders of EU countries are unanimous in supporting Brussels' mediation efforts.
