Hamas Shoots Down Israeli Helicopter

The military wing of Hamas, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, has announced that it successfully shot down an Israeli helicopter in the central part of the Gaza Strip. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the statement, "The fighters of the al-Qassam Brigades launched a Sam7 missile from the Al-Bureij refugee camp toward the enemy helicopter located to the east. A hit has been recorded."

There has been no comment from the Israeli military as of yet.
