How Many Civilians Remain in Northern Gaza: IDF
Israeli Defense Forces representative Jonathan Conricus has informed reporters that around 600,000 people have already evacuated from northern Gaza. This was required by Israeli military for a ground operation against Hamas, according to BBC.
According to the Israeli Defense Forces, 100,000 people remain. Conricus claims that the 600,000 Palestinians made a "wise and self-preserving" decision to relocate to the southern part of the region.
“100,000 people need to leave,” he added. Conricus repeated statements regarding Hamas allegedly preventing civilians from leaving northern Gaza.
