Biden Should Learn to Respect Others: Putin on Pressure Statement
Vladimir Putin, commenting on Joe Biden's statement that he intends to "pressure" the Russian president, emphasized that the American leader must learn to respect others. He is confident that if the United States has no other issues than building relations with Russia, then "in a certain sense, that is not a bad thing."
“But despite my mentioned experience, we have a well-known saying in Russia: we need to learn to respect others, and in that case, there will be no need to pressure anyone,” Putin said during an interview with Pavel Zarubin for the television channel “Russia-24.”
At the same time, the President of the Russian Federation added that “for some reason or without any reason, the constant desire to pressure someone leads to problems.” In response to a clarifying question about whether it is possible to pressure him personally, Putin replied, “I believe this is not about me personally; it concerns the interests of the country, and the interests of Russia cannot be pressured.”
