Israel Grants Additional 6 Hours for Gaza Residents to Relocate South

The Israeli army announced today that residents of the Gaza Strip will have an additional 6 hours to safely reach the southern part of the area. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

"We urge Gaza residents to leave the city and head south for your own safety. We inform you that the Israeli army will allow movement on specified routes without any unpleasant incidents from 10:00 to 16:00. Use this time to reach the south," wrote Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee in Arabic on X social media.

Adraee also urged Gaza residents not to trust the leaders of Hamas, who, according to him, have already "abandoned" the residents.

Earlier, UN special rapporteur Paula Gaviria Betancur stated that Israel's ultimatum regarding the evacuation of northern Gaza within 24 hours constitutes a crime against humanity and a violation of international humanitarian law. Russia's permanent representative at the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, noted that the demand to evacuate more than one million civilians in 24 hours and effectively gather them in a ghetto in the south is unacceptable and could lead to irreparable disaster.

It is reminded that on the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. The Israeli military press service reported that extremists had fired more than 3,000 rockets. Additionally, dozens of terrorists infiltrated border areas in southern Israel.
