Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Responds to Catherine Colonna with Fresh Accusations
Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry has issued a statement condemning and rejecting the proposal made by French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, which suggests that France will demand a resolution regarding the return of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh within the framework of the UN Security Council.
“The French Minister's statement demonstrates that Paris is interested in continuing its false policy in the South Caucasus. We remind the French side once again that speaking to Azerbaijan in the language of threats and pressure will yield no results, and such unconstructive actions must be stopped immediately,” said the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
“It is hypocritical that France, which has taken no steps to ensure the implementation of the four resolutions of the UN Security Council, is now calling for a resolution against Azerbaijan,” the ministry stated.
