Borrell Invites Israeli and Palestinian Foreign Ministers to Meeting
The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has invited the foreign ministers of Israel and Palestine to a meeting concerning Middle Eastern issues.
“I have invited Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen to join the meeting of foreign ministers that I will hold in the second half of the day. I have also invited Palestinian Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki to speak at the meeting,” Borrell wrote on his microblog X.
It is worth reminding that on the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army's press service reported that militants launched more than 3,000 rockets. Additionally, dozens of militants invaded border areas in southern Israel. Israel has carried out retaliatory strikes.
