Video: The Number of Those Displaced from Artsakh Reaches 66,500
The number of individuals displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh has reached 66,500 as of 10:00 AM, announced Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan during a government meeting.
According to him, the majority of these individuals have been relocated to Armenia in the last two days. “In the first two days—September 24 and 25—a total of 9,000 individuals were displaced, but on the 26th alone, the number of those displaced was 22,800, while yesterday it was 26,600. During the night from midnight to 10 AM, the number of displaced individuals was 8,100, and this number is not decreasing,” he stated.
Khachatryan noted that humanitarian centers have been established in Goris and Vayk to assist with accommodation issues, operating around the clock. He also reported that approximately 11,000 people have found shelter with the assistance of the government.
