Zakhrova on the Situation in Artsakh
The situation in Nagorno-Karabakh remains severe. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakhrova during a press briefing.
The spokesperson expressed condolences to the families of the victims of a major explosion that occurred at a fuel depot not far from Stepanakert.
“Russian peacekeepers have taken the most active measures to extinguish the fire, provide medical assistance, and evacuate residents. We will continue to exert all efforts to assist the population,” said the Russian Foreign Ministry representative.
She added that the main stabilizing factor in the region continues to be the Russian peacekeeping forces, which selflessly carry out their assignments.
It should be noted that on September 25, there was a major explosion at a fuel depot in the Askeran region, resulting in 68 casualties.
