SSS Warns About Cyberattacks: Who Are the Targets?
Since the first ten days of September, there has been a significant increase in cyberattacks within the Armenian internet domain. This information was reported by the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia.
It was noted that there have been attempts to spread misinformation and to steal data, as well as other harmful activities posing information security risks.
"Both the information systems of the state and local self-government bodies, as well as strategic significance objects have been targeted," the statement reads.
The NSS urges vigilance, adherence to basic rules of media literacy, and reporting any information regarding computer incidents to the State Center for Computer Incident Response of the Republic of Armenia.
