President of Artsakh Urgently Calls Security Council Meeting

Once again violating the tripartite agreement of November 9, 2020, Azerbaijan launched large-scale military operations against the Republic of Artsakh on September 19, targeting civilian infrastructures and the peaceful population, resulting in casualties and injuries, including women, the elderly, and children. This was reported by the Artsakh Information Headquarters.

Azerbaijan's actions are nothing less than an ethnic cleansing and genocidal policy, using fictitious agendas such as humanitarian corridors and humanitarianism to justify its actions. President of the Republic of Artsakh, Samvel Shahramanyan, has urgently called a meeting of the Security Council to discuss the current situation and future actions.

Considering the threat to the lives and health of thousands of people, the official Stepanakert calls upon international actors and all interested parties to take all necessary measures immediately to stop the aggression against Artsakh. The Republic of Artsakh has always been in favor of a peaceful resolution and reaffirms its readiness to resolve all issues through negotiations.
