Burglary at the Residence of Shirak Diocese Leader

Recently, an unknown individual or individuals broke into the residence of His Grace, Archbishop Mikayel Ajapahyan, leader of the Shirak diocese, and committed theft. This information was confirmed in a conversation with Sputnik Armenia by the Archbishop.

“Not finding valuable items, they took souvenirs, commemorative medals, and crosses that hold great significance for me. They also broke the door and a cabinet,” said the diocesan leader.

The burglar or burglars took advantage of the circumstance that Archbishop Mikayel Ajapahyan had been on vacation and had been out of the country for almost a month. The authorities are currently investigating the matter.
