Three Pilots Killed in Aircraft Collision in Ukraine

Two Czech combat training L-39 aircraft collided in the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine, resulting in the death of three pilots, according to RIA Novosti citing "Ukrainskaya Pravda."

"On the evening of August 25, the L-39 training aircraft collided in the Zhytomyr region, and all three pilots were killed," the newspaper reports, referencing its sources within the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.

According to the publication, among the deceased was a pilot known as "Dzhus" from the Air Force of Ukraine, who was a MiG-29 combat pilot. "Ukrainskaya Pravda" noted that the Air Force has promised to provide an official comment on the incident later. The Investigative Committee has already initiated an investigation.

Vladimir Rogov, the leader of the public movement "We Are with Russia," stated the day before that Russian troops had shot down a Ukrainian fighter in fighting for the village of Rabotino in the Zaporizhzhia region.
