Azerbaijan Deliberately Chose the Instrument of Starvation: Artsakh Foreign Minister

The Foreign Minister of Artsakh, Sergey Ghazaryan, has presented the humanitarian situation created in Artsakh due to Azerbaijan's blockade of the Lachin Corridor.

“As reported by the Artsakh Human Rights Defender, we already have cases of death from starvation. We see that, unfortunately, this danger is becoming increasingly serious, considering that we have very limited resources. At the same time, it should be noted that the lack of fuel is causing severe damage to almost all sectors of life, from the healthcare system to agriculture,” Ghazaryan stated during a conversation with reporters.

Citing a report by former Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Luis Moreno Ocampo, Ghazaryan emphasized that Azerbaijan has very deliberately chosen the instrument of starvation, and only through specific actions by the international community can the Azerbaijani side be restrained.
