UN Security Council Meeting on the Nagorno-Karabakh Issue
The UN Security Council has convened an extraordinary session in New York at the request of Armenia, focusing on the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan is participating in the meeting.
It is noteworthy that Armenia has appealed to the UN Security Council to hold this emergency session in light of Azerbaijan's blockade of the Lachin corridor and the worsening humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan expressed confidence that the UN Security Council can play a decisive role in preventing a humanitarian disaster in Nagorno-Karabakh.
