Explosion on a Ship in Istanbul Results in One Fatality
An explosion occurred on a ship at a shipyard in Istanbul, resulting in one death. The report is confirmed by TRT.
The explosion took place on a vessel in the Tuzla shipyard, specifically in the section designated for waste, at 10:30 AM local time (11:30 AM Yerevan time), according to the publication.
According to the newspaper, there was a gas compression that led to the explosion while two shipyard workers were present at the site. One of them died, while the other sustained minor injuries.
Emergency service crews have arrived at the scene.
